Part of The SHE Experience
The SHEnest is a sanctuary within The SHE Experience, created to nurture and transform the unique bond between mothers and daughters. Here, connection is deepened through guided conversations, moments of rest, and shared reflection, all within a safe, supportive space. Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, The SHEnest offers the care, safety, and encouragement needed to step into new seasons of life together.

Through healing generational patterns, fostering empathy, and empowering growth, it becomes more than a program, it’s a journey of renewal, understanding, and lasting transformation.
A Legacy of Love and Sanctuary
Sindiswa Carol Oganne
14 November 1953 – 23 July 2025
This SHENest program is a heartfelt dedication to the memory of Sindiswa Carol Oganne, a mother whose boundless love created a safe place to land, even in the midst of life’s most difficult storms and profound tragedies. Under the greatest humiliation, ridicule, and scorn, she did not falter; she continued to build—a testament to her singular strength.
“Mama Sindiswa understood what it meant to construct a true nest, a sacred place of safety, comforting warmth, and unwavering love. Despite the daunting difficulties we faced, despite the hardships that tried to break us, she always chose to wrap her wings around me and nurture my growth with absolute devotion. Our relationship blossomed into my ultimate shelter, my enduring strength, and the unshakeable foundation upon which I stand today.
She taught me a truth both simple and profound: a mother’s love doesn’t demand perfect circumstances. It requires a brave heart. She showed me that even when the world feels unsafe, a mother’s arms can be a sanctuary. She proved that the bond between mother and child can survive anything, and even flourish, when nurtured with dedication and tenderness.
The Legacy of the Purple Butterfly
In her final eight years, as the gentle shadow of dementia walked alongside her, Mama continued to teach me invaluable lessons about grace, patience, and the enduring, transformative power of love itself. This tender journey profoundly inspired the purple in our logo, a vibrant, heartfelt tribute to her courage and the depth of our bond during those tender years.
The delicate butterfly in our SHENest logo symbolizes the incredible transformation that is inherently possible in every mother-daughter relationship. Just as a butterfly emerges from its cocoon, reborn and transformed into something truly magnificent, so too can our relationships with our mothers and with ourselves evolve into something extraordinary through dedicated love, profound healing, and continuous growth.
The SHENest program proudly honors her incredible legacy—it is a space meticulously built on the unwavering belief that every woman deserves a safe haven to heal, to grow, and to courageously become the magnificent individual she is truly meant to be. Just as Mama Sindiswa so lovingly created that nest for me, we now extend and create this very same sacred space for other women on their unique journey through womanhood.
Mama, your immeasurable love lives on vibrant and strong, echoing in every woman who finds refuge, strength, and transformation here. Your purple butterfly continues to flutter, graceful and resilient, weathering all conditions and inspiring us all.
Rest in peace, Mama, and thank you for the nest.

Step Into Your New Season: Heal, Connect, and Grow Together.
To truly overcome adversity, it is essential to cultivate a mindset that views challenges as opportunities for growth. With the right support from mothers, daughters can learn to approach setbacks with resilience and a positive attitude. This shift in perspective allows them to harness their inner strength, transforming fear and doubt into confidence and determination. It is through this process that they can rise above their circumstances, emerging stronger and more self-assured.
